Hungarian MotoGP Round Uncertain After Bank Withdraws Loan PDF E-mail

The future of the Balatonring circuit near Hungary's Lake Balaton is once again uncertain, after the Hungarian Development Bank MFB refused to underwrite a loan needed for completion of the project, according to the Hungarian business news service MTI-ECO. The loan of 15.3 billion Hungarian Forints HUF (around 57.6 million Euros or 79.3 million dollars) was part of a total package of of over 35 billion HUF in government subsidy needed to complete the 40 billion HUF project.

The Repsol Honda Team held its official launch in Madrid, Spain on Saturday with the start of the 2010 MotoGP season just under one month away. Spanish rider Dani Pedrosa was the star of show held in front of 7000 fans at the Palacio de Deportes de la Comunidad de Madrid. The event was timed to coincide with the penultimate round of the FIM Indoor Trial World Championship at the same venue.

 
Isle of Man team confirmed for 2010 TT clean emissions race PDF E-mail

Another team has confirmed it will contest the clean emissions race at the 2010 Isle of Man TT. Team ManTTx Racing will compete in TT Zero.
The Isle of Man-based team raced in 2009, recording an average lap speed of 70.677mph around the Mountain Circuit. ManTTx Racing was class leader and second overall in the first qualifying session with rider Dan Kneen at the controls.
