British Superbikes Shifts up to Nissan

The MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship (BSB) has chosen the UK's largest car producer, Nissan for the coveted status of its official vehicle supplier. The agreement between BSB series commercial rights holder MSVR and Nissan Motor GB covers the 2010 and 2011 seasons and will see a fleet of twelve vehicles comprising seven different models deployed in various demanding roles.

 
Ducati boss hails new engine performance

Ducati boss Vittoriano Guareschi has hailed the performance of the Bologna factory’s new Big Bang GP10 motor after Casey Stoner topped the timesheets at the final winter test in Qatar last week. Ducati ditched its Screamer motor at the end of last season to roll out a new smoother Big Bang engine for the 2010 campaign, which gets underway in Qatar on April 11.

Much has been made of the quality of broadcast by MotoGP's organizers, Dorna. The camerawork and onboard footage is very highly rated by the fans, and has received plaudits from the international media around the world. The only complaint that fans have had - apart from a lack of access in some countries - has been the fact that the broadcasts have not yet been available in High Definition.
